For whom?

Intermediate - meaning beginners with some basic knowledge, such as gluing straight seams and curves.

Prerequisites

  • You don't need any knowledge of pattern drawing.
  • We explain step-by-step how to make the calculations for the pattern.
  • We do not show you how to glue the latex skirt together. We assume you have some basic knowledge and know how to glue two pieces of latex together for a seam.
  • If you have no experience yet, first watch the initial series of videos where we explain the basic techniques for making latex clothing.
  • Or buy the course book on Amazon (How to make latex clothing).

Video

  • This latex workshop consists of a total of 1 video.
  • Subtitled in many languages (see the table above).
  • There is no spoken language in the video.

What will you learn?

  • In this lesson, you will learn how to draw a simple pattern for a latex skirt in your own measurements. Or, of course, in someone else's measurements.
  • The video is short, but that doesn't mean you can draw this pattern in 3 minutes. It will naturally take much longer, but... the pattern is drawn in just 7 steps.
  • The seam allowance is already included in the pattern you will draw (1 cm), so you don't have to draw or calculate it separately. It's super easy!
  • And you can even download the ready-made skirt patterns!
  • So... if you don't want to calculate and draw them yourself... you can just download and print them at home!

What materials do you need?

  • Pattern drawing paper
  • Pen & paper for sketching
  • Printer (A4-size paper)
  • Glue or tape to attach the A4 pages as one pattern
  • Measuring tape
  • Calculator
